25-Year Anniversary
You may be wondering where I was the last couple of weeks. My company has celebrated my 25th anniversary. On this anniversary, I may not have wealth, but I do have a fantastic team to work with and a high standard in what we are doing and that is worth more than anything in the world. My colleagues and kids are also moved in a new house during the holidays.
It was hard work but we are all very excited. Normally moving is very stressful but this was a great event.

DON'T treat your business like a job

As an entrepreneur, you DO NOT get paid by the time you put in your business. No matter what industry you are in, entrepreneurs only get paid by production.
No Result = No Dinnero
What I see most newbie’s in the network marketing industry do is that they treat their business like their jobs.
They would put in the hours, weeks later they don’t see the results and they would call the program a scam because it didn’t pay them.
Business is not a job. And if one needs immediate part time income, go out there and find a part time job! Your business is not going to pay you until you can make it profitable.
It is very difficult to make your business grow if you are treating your business as a part time hobby mentally.
Is it possible to run a network marketing business part time?
You can work part time on your business, but you can not treat your business as a part time thing. Since time is only a small part of the equation of how much you get paid, you can definitely use it to your advantage. Remember, even if you only have 1 hour a day to run your business, if you can concentrate all your energy and focus in that 1 hour block, you will be amazed at how much you will get done.
Make sure to focus 100% of your cell in your business in whatever time you can dedicate to it. tune out all outside noise including phone calls, emails, even your family. Have a list of tasks you want to accomplish in front of you and do not get side tracked until you finish the tasks at hand.
Here’s one golden tip for you if time is not on your side: You are a business owner. And business owners don’t do everything themselves.
The first thing you want to do is figure out what your strength and weaknesses are.
There’s nothing more unproductive than spending hours at your computer trying figure out how to do a task that someone else can do it for 2 minutes. Get creative in outsourcing. Outsourcing don’t always have to cost your thousands of dollars a month. You can go find talents within your own network of friends and family. You can even find computer help from students in a local community college near you!
Once you have your business running in streamline and you are only doing that tasks that you are good at, your business will start to grow and you are on your way to achieve the life of your dream.

Epiphany? Nay: Wise,.. and who spoke of 3?

Matthew describes in his second book how some Biblical Magi see a star and followed it up in Bethlehem, where they greeted Jesus as the newborn king of the Jews. Striking: Matthew nowhere speaks of ‘kings’, he speaks of ‘wise men’. Matthew does not speak of ‘3’ wise men.
In the 4th century the Christians of the Byzantine Empire took the date January 6th as the place to celebrate the Catholic Christmas holiday to the appearance of the incarnate Son of God on earth. The holiday was called ‘epiphany’, which is Greek for ‘appearance’. The holiday was not only commemorate the birth of Jesus, but also the visit and adoration of the Magi from the east, and the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist.
But the Roman Catholic Church celebrated the birth of Christ already on December 25, to replace the Roman festival of the god Mithras. The Roman Catholics have taken over January 6, but only to the worship of the Magi. The Orthodox Christians celebrate on January 6 still the birth, the appearance and the baptism of Christ.
How 3 Wise Men became 3 Kings
The holiday is now called ‘Epiphany’ or ‘Three Kings’, but it is uncertain whether the party were with three. The apostle Matthew says only that they had three gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Under the influence of other Christmas stories, like that of Tertullian, the Magi of Matthew eventually became kings. Tertullian read the story of Matthew in the light of Isaiah from the Old Testament. It says: ‘Peoples come to your light, kings to the brightness of your dawn. ... A flood of camels shall cover you, dromedaries from Midian and Efa, all residents come from Sheba, laden with gold and incense.’(Isaiah 60, 3.6).
This is how the wise men became kings and they were with three. In the 8th century, the Kings also got a name: Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar.

New Year's Resolutions for 2010

Success is not an accident, it begins with a well-conceived plan. You can and will achieve more in the next year than you have in the past ten with a disciplined plan of action. By investing your efforts into a New Year’s Resolution, you give yourself a launch pad for starting your new year and your new life.
This year I'm determined to try harder and I plan to succeed.
1. To continue fighting for a better future for myself and others by offering help and services to others. This also means to use my time as productively as I can in order to benefit the people I am trying to support. So again… better planning!
2. Start up of an own direct marketing plan with fare trade products.
3. I have no influence on one of the MLM company’s I am working with, so make a choice how to deal with that. I still haven’t figure that one out.
4. On a personal level, I need to make sure I exercise a bit more. Leave my car at home. Repair my bicycle. Start the day with my realistic and achievable start-to-run program. I am winning the fight against obesity – lost 12 kg – still 5 to go and trying to stay there.
5. To do something every day that will make a different to the preservation of the planet. One day I might pick up some litter, one day I might refuse a carrier bag, another day I might encourage other people to do one of those things, all electrical appliances off at bedtime, …
6. I hope also to try and train myself to read more for pleasure – many books are still unread in the bookcase.
7. Try to make my e-mails more personal and count to ten more often when I have to answer an annoying e-mail. I only get to five this past year before losing it.
8. Continue working, weeding and digging in my beautiful garden so I can enjoy and spend more time outside in the sun.
9. Minimize my work load to spend more time with my wife and friends.
10. And last but not least: keep on looking for high value people to connect with.

Reinvent Yourself

For most of us, the word ‘winning’, is a very simple concept. You create a goal, and when you achieve it, you’ve won.
For me winning is a continuous process that is brought to an end once you’ve won, which is an event. As soon as you’ve ‘won’, the process starts all over again.
This is why you tend to feel lost or unfulfilled after you achieve a goal. I used to get lazy after I accomplished a very hard task and nobody – not even myself – inspired me by a new goal. I had won and didn’t know what to do next. I was a winner without a goal, so comfort took its place.
I don’t know where you are at this moment in your life, but I do know this… Entrepreneurs win by winning, and they’ll do whatever it takes to fulfill that subconscious desire. If your subconscious’ desire isn’t to really ‘win’ in networking or your home business right now, then you need to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why? Do you really want to ‘win’ in this industry, or are you after something else…?
You are not a victim or a prisoner of your subconscious. You can control it. You can train it to achieve new goals. You have complete power over every aspect of your life and you can reinvent yourself, and the way you win at any time, but it’s a process that will require complete dedication.
Well, there’s actually much more to it than that, because your subconscious mind has its own definition for ‘winning’, and whether you like it or not, you and your entire life are run by this little bugger.
If your subconscious doesn’t want you to ‘win’ when it comes to wealth and money, you’re not going to. Period. By definition, your subconscious thoughts and its agenda for your life are hidden from you, unless you’ve trained yourself to communicate with it. You can train it to achieve new goals!

Christmas letter from a British soldier in 1914

"This will be the most memorable Christmas I've ever spent or likely to spend: since about tea time yesterday I don't think theres been a shot fired on either side up to now. Last night turned a very clear frost moonlight night, so soon after dusk we had some decent fires going and had a few carols and songs. The Germans commenced by placing lights all along the edge of their trenches and coming over to us—wishing us a Happy Christmas etc.
They also gave us a few songs etc. so we had quite a social party. Several of them can speak English very well so we had a few conversations. Some of our chaps went to over to their lines. I think they've all come back bar one from 'E' Co. They no doubt kept him as a souvenir. In spite of our fires etc. it was terribly cold and a job to sleep between look out duties, which are two hours in every six.
First thing this morning it was very foggy. So we stood to arms a little longer than usual. A few of us that were lucky could go to Holy Communion early this morning. It was celebrated in a ruined farm about 500 yds behind us. I unfortunately couldn't go. There must be something in the spirit of Christmas as to day we are all on top of our trenches running about. Whereas other days we have to keep our heads well down. We had breakfast about 8.0 which went down alright especially some cocoa we made. We also had some of the post this morning.
I had a parcel from B. G's Lace Dept containing a sweater, smokes, under clothes etc. We also had a card from the Queen, which I am sending back to you to look after please. After breakfast we had a game of football at the back of our trenches! We've had a few Germans over to see us this morning. They also sent a party over to bury a sniper we shot in the week. He was about a 100 yds from our trench. A few of our fellows went out and helped to bury him.
About 10.30 we had a short church parade the morning service etc. held in the trench. How we did sing. 'O come all ye faithful. And While shepherds watched their flocks by night' were the hymns we had. At present we are cooking our Christmas Dinner! so will finish this letter later.
Dinner is over! and well we enjoyed it. Our dinner party started off with fried bacon and dip-bread: followed by hot Xmas Pudding. I had a mascot in my piece. Next item on the menu was muscatels and almonds, oranges, bananas, chocolate etc followed by cocoa and smokes. You can guess we thought of the dinners at home. Just before dinner I had the pleasure of shaking hands with several Germans: a party of them came 1/2 way over to us so several of us went out to them. I exchanged one of my balaclavas for a hat. I've also got a button off one of their tunics. We also exchanged smokes etc. and had a decent chat. They say they won't fire tomorrow if we don't so I suppose we shall get a bit of a holiday—perhaps. After exchanging autographs and them wishing us a Happy New Year we departed and came back and had our dinner.
We can hardly believe that we've been firing at them for the last week or two—it all seems so strange. At present its freezing hard and everything is covered with ice…
There are plenty of huge shell holes in front of our trenches, also pieces of shrapnel to be found. I never expected to shake hands with Germans between the firing lines on Christmas Day and I don't suppose you thought of us doing so. So after a fashion we've enjoyed? our Christmas. Hoping you spend a happy time also George Boy as well. How we thought of England during the day. Kind regards to all the neighbours. With much love from Boy."

Atlantis or Aliens?

The most famous of such theories is undoubtedly of Erich von Dänikens ‘Chariots or the god?’ (1970), in which the writer states that the sudden rise of civilisation is due to the influence of aliens (space beings). Other writers, like von Däniken and a lot of imitators, believe that ' primitive ' cultures from the stone age could never develop to civilisations, and search the answer in theories concerning sunk continents. The myth of Atlantis is of course the most popular, but there are several other countries in mysterious pseudo-geography of these theories, such as Lemuria and Mu.
The pattern of these theories of extraterrestrial and that of lost continents are basically the same: lost or hidden civilisations - whether they are extraterrestrial or Atlantic - existed before those of Egypt and Mesopotamia and taught these two everything what they knew.
The ' evidence ' for such prehistoric civilisations is not provided of course by the physical rests of aliens or archaeological vestiges of Atlantis, they both don’t exist of course. It is suggested that the astronomic knowledge and the advanced technology of the old world could not be passed through by the cultures from the stone age and for this reason only explained by using Atlantis or aliens. Such points of view are terribly popular and influential and this is partly to blame to the standard vision of science which cannot explain in a convincing manner the origin of civilisation.
Nevertheless it is obvious that cultural elements of the Ancient Egypt and Sumer already existed in the stone age and these civilisations had their predecessors.

A Merry, Merry Yule
And that Cat was huge indeed.
People didn't know where he came from
Or where he went.
He opened his glaring eyes wide,
The two of them glowing bright.
It took a really brave man
To look straight into them.
His whiskers, sharp as bristles,
His back arched up high.
And the claws of his hairy paws
Were a terrible sight.
He gave a wave of his strong tail,
He jumped and he clawed and he hissed.
Sometimes up in the valley,
Sometimes down by the shore.
He roamed at large, hungry and evil
In the freezing Yule snow.
In every home
People shuddered at his name.
If one heard a pitiful "meow"
Something evil would happen soon.
Everybody knew he hunted men
But didn't care for mice.
He picked on the very poor
That no new garments got
For Yule - who toiled
And lived in dire need.
From them he took in one fell swoop
Their whole Yule dinner
Always eating it himself
If he possibly could.
Hence it was that the women
At their spinning wheels sat
Spinning a colorful thread
For a frock or a little sock.
Because you mustn't let the Cat
Get hold of the little children.
They had to get something new to wear
From the grownups each year.
And when the lights came on, on Yule Eve
And the Cat peered in,
The little children stood rosy and proud
All dressed up in their new clothes.
Some had gotten an apron
And some had gotten shoes
Or something that was needed
- That was all it took.
For all who got something new to wear
Stayed out of that pussy-cat's grasp
He then gave an awful hiss
But went on his way.
Whether he still exists I do not know.
But his visit would be in vain
If next time everybody
Got something new to wear.
Now you might be thinking of helping
Where help is needed most.
Perhaps you'll find some children
That have nothing at all.
Perhaps searching for those
That live in a lightless world
Will give you a happy day
And a Merry, Merry Yule.

A Christmas Tale

Then I discovered that somewhere inside the wonderful device lived an amazing person. Her name was 'Information Please' and there was nothing she did not know. Information Please could supply anyone's number and the correct time.
My personal experience with the genie-in-a-bottle came one day while my Mother was visiting a neighbor. Amusing myself at the tool bench in the basement, I whacked my finger with a hammer, the pain was terrible, but there seemed no point in crying because there was no one home to give sympathy.
I walked around the house sucking my throbbing finger, finally arriving at the stairway. The telephone! Quickly, I ran for the footstool in the Parlor and dragged it to the landing climbing up; I unhooked the receiver in the parlor and held it to my ear.
'Information, please,' I said into the mouthpiece just above my head. A click or two and a small clear voice spoke into my ear.
'Information.'
'I hurt my finger,' I wailed into the phone, the tears came readily enough now that I had an audience.
'Isn't your mother home?' came the question.
'Nobody's home but me,' I blubbered.
'Are you bleeding?' the voice asked.
'No,' I replied. 'I hit my finger with the hammer and it hurts.' 'Can you open the icebox?' she asked.
I said I could.
'Then chip off a little bit of ice and hold it to your finger,' said the voice.
After that, I called 'Information Please' for everything. I asked her for help with my geography, and she told me where Philadelphia was. She helped me with my math. She told me my pet chipmunk that I had caught in the park just the day before, would eat fruit and nuts.
Then, there was the time Petey, our pet canary, died. I called, 'Information Please,' and told her the sad story. She listened, and then said things grown-ups say to soothe a child. But I was not consoled. I asked her, 'Why is it that birds should sing so beautifully and bring Joy to all families, only to end up as a heap of feathers on the bottom of a cage?'
She must have sensed my deep concern, for she said quietly, ' Wayne, always remember that there are other worlds to sing in.'
Somehow I felt better.
Another day I was on the telephone, 'Information Please.'
'Information,' said in the now familiar voice.
'How do I spell fix?' I asked.
All this took place in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. When I was nine years old, we moved across the country to Boston. I missed my friend very much. 'Information Please' belonged in that old wooden box back home and I somehow never thought of trying the shiny new phone that sat on the table in the hall. As I grew into my teens, the memories of those childhood conversations never really left me.
Often, in moments of doubt and perplexity I would recall the serene sense of security I had then. I appreciated now how patient, understanding, and kind she was to have spent her time on a little boy.
A few years later, on my way west to college, my plane put down in Seattle I had about a half-hour or so between planes. I spent 15 minutes or so on the phone with my sister, who lived there now. Then without thinking what I was doing, I dialed my hometown Operator and said, 'Information Please.'
Miraculously, I heard the small, clear voice I knew so well. 'Information.'
I hadn't planned this, but I heard myself saying, 'Could you please tell me how to spell fix?'
There was a long pause. Then came the soft spoken answer, 'I guess your finger must have healed by now.'
I laughed, 'So it's really you,' I said. 'I wonder if you have any idea how much you meant to me during that time?'
'I wonder,' she said, 'if you know how much your call meant to me. I never had any children and I used to look forward to your calls.'
I told her how often I had thought of her over the years and I asked if I could call her again when I came back to visit my sister.
'Please do,' she said. 'Just ask for Sally.'
Three months later I was back in Seattle a different voice answered: Information.' I asked for Sally.
'Are you a friend?' she said.
'Yes, a very old friend,' I answered.
'I'm sorry to have to tell you this,' she said. 'Sally had been working part-time the last few years because she was sick. She died five weeks ago.'
Before I could hang up she said, 'Wait a minute, did you say your name was Wayne?'
'Yes.' I answered.
'Well, Sally left a message for you. She wrote it down in case you called. Let me read it to you.' The note said, 'Tell him there are other worlds to sing in. He'll know what I mean.'
I thanked her and hung up. I knew what Sally meant.
Never underestimate the impression you may make on others.
Whose life have you touched today?
Why not pass this on? I just did....
Lifting you on eagle's wings. May you find the joy and peace you long for.
Life is a journey ... NOT a guided tour. So don't miss the ride and have a great time going around. You don't get a second shot at it.
I loved this story and just had to pass it on. I hope you enjoy it just as I did.

Learning how to smile
Life keeps on getting weirder every day. Ik know when people smile at you and touch you, it helps a lot. We all are just learning how to fall and to climb back up again. Nothing is perfect, nothing is really new. We are just learning how to live together.
How can I learn to smile?
I have never learned that my teeth are a fantastic instrument to make contact. Instead I learned to cover up my teeth with a closed mouth pseudo grin, which has since become my natural response to whatever causes me to want to smile. I "don't ever smile," according to others. Though you may not see anything particularly wrong at my smile, it's been a lifelong struggle I'd finally like to conquer.
I have no idea how to do this. That's where I hope you can help. How can I learn to smile?

A little bit more about myself
After a while though, I wanted to accelerate my income to much higher levels to reach financial freedom, so I ventured into the world of network marketing.
Network marketing seemed like it would work out well because the start-up costs are low and it didn't seem like it really took any special skills to succeed.
Boy, was I wrong!
I now understand why 97% of network marketers fail. Man, it is hard, and it makes you feel about 2 inches tall most of the time. Dealing with the constant rejection and always feeling like friends and family want to avoid you is painful to say the least!
When I started out, I figured that my up-line knew what they were talking about because they were all apparently making a ton of money. But, when I did the things they told me to do, NOTHING seemed to work.
Oh I was pretty successful in the beginning. In no time I reached the level of Executive Director and a few months later followed by 1 Star. But then I got stuck.
So, I started to spend a lot of money on search engine advertising, and spent an enormous amount of time on the phone or in meetings TRYING to persuade people of my great opportunity - and it really was a great opportunity.
After several years, my motivation had faded and was almost nonexistent, and my dream of financial freedom was very far away. I literally was spending 16 hours a day. I felt like I was running on a hamster wheel - running around and around but going nowhere.
I began to do some deep soul searching about what I was really trying to accomplish and how I was going about it.
Late one night I was reading a book ‘Scheherazade Goes West: Different Cultures, Different Harems’ (ISBN: 9780743412421) from Fatima Mernissi (only $2.10). Her vision on Moroccan young people in small villages of the Atlas mountains who use the internet to sell the tapestry the traditional mothers make, struck me. I will tell you about this initiative later.
But what I knew now was that I first had to have a great idea I could believe in and could be of big value for my prospects and customers. Secondly that I still had a lot to learn, and this fresh new dream wasn’t going to happen over one or two nights.
I registered myself in every opportunity ,every newsletter that came along, and I don’t have to tell you what that means. I focused and focus myself on the most attractive and interesting offers. And until now I can tell you that I have a pretty good idea what direction network marketing is evolving.
One of the most amazing things was that you could make money EVEN IF someone did not join your primary business opportunity. You should focus on growing your business, and the sales funnel would take care of the rest.
Another really cool thing is that I never had to pick up the phone - can you imagine what a relief it is to know that you can make a ton of money without having to buy leads or make cold calls!
Another shocking news was a big door opener! You DON’T promote the company but you promote YOURSELF! I hear you thinking… HOW?
Please read it all in this blog.

Realistic Plan Making
A lot of the people that do jump into the internet marketing, ultimately fail at the endeavour either because of lack of real motivation, a lack of planning, or a lack of diversity in their thinking.
You need a realistic plan to achieve realistic results. A proper planning and execute of that plan. And the main thing is to diversify diversify diversify … Meaning: make sure you are constantly developing various income streams that are going to support your endeavours and also when you got one particular income stream dry up, you’ve got other income streams to take the load. So simply put, don’t rely on one income stream. You need to develop others in several different areas.
I hope to show you the various methods we use, the various avenues we use to develop income streams.
Why is there such a high failure rate in the internet marketing? A lot of people believe that to make money on the internet is… slap a website together, have a product to sell and … Voila! In a couple of days you have made a million euro’s. Unfortunately for those who think that way, I am here to tell you: it does not work that way, never has, never will.
Let us look at this realistic. If you are not familiar with the internet marketing scene and everything that goes into building a website… Let us suppose you are able to build up a website today – if you know how to build a website. A lot of people don’t know how to build a website. I am not saying that to be mean. It is a fact of life. Let us suppose you build that website and you happened to have a product to sell. If you have got all that done. How are people going to find your website? Your website is up. You have gone through all the trouble of building it. Put in the product there to sell but… How are people going to find you? Who is going to know about it? And who is come to visit you? Let suppose that you overcome that and you actually find people that visit your website. What steps have you taken to put visitors on your page, once you have them there? A site that is build, the user that is coming to your site, if they are not there more than 10 seconds than probably your site is not going to retain visitors very well. And if you don’t retain visitors that basically means you are not going to convert for sales. But let us suppose you do manage to hold their attention long enough so they can see your product. What steps have you taken to convert that visitor into a paying customer? In other words: why should they buy from you? And why would they want to? What are you doing on your website that is going to compel that visitor to buy from you as supposed from someone else who is selling the same product? And then let us suppose you finally that you have got the visitor, you kept the visitor, and you even converted the visitor to make the sale. What type of service are you going to establish in order to support that customer after the sale. Because you will need the support your customer after the sale if you wish to maintain a presence on the internet. Your reputation is everything out here. And if you don’t build a good reputation, you are not going to last very long in this business. Customers have a way of knowing good marketers from the not so good marketers. And word gets around. Not only with customers but with other marketers as well.
The bottom line here is that in this business you threaten it just like any business you may want to start up, whether it is online, offline or whatever. You have to develop an idea from the ground up and you need to take that idea and develop a realistic plan around it. A plan that is going to take you from point A, which is the idea itself, the development, to point B, the product or service that you are going to sell, to point C, which is selling it, that product or service. And you have a lot of stuff in between that you need to consider. Between point A, B and C. And every situation that you run into in an internet marketing is going to be different. Every situation, in what you sell, what audience you are reaching for, the demographic that you are reaching for, the country that you are selling in, you have all kinds of things to taken to real consideration. Every situation is different but the one thing that is consistent, if you don’t take the time at the front-end to take a plan for your strategy, you will not last long, selling in the internet marketing arena. So my word of advice is plan your work, and work your plan.
If you get this down, you learn how to plan your work effectively, your strategy is realistic, your income will happen. Your chances of success are much higher, when you do this one simple thing.

Stop throwing your sales pitch...

Are you wondering why people aren’t signing up? Are you wondering why people are not interested? Well, I tell you why! Because you are throwing a sales pitch at them.
When you throw a sales pitch to other people, their mind instantly shuts you down. You have no way to get into the door. You have no way to build a relationship. They have no reason to trust you.
So what I am here to tell you, is to stop throwing sales pitches. Stop using a replicated site. Stop of representing the company. People have seen replicated sites hundreds, thousands of times. And if they said no the first time, they probably say no again.
So what I am here to do is to tell you to be yourself, okay! Be yourself, give people a reason, why they should listen to you. Give them a reason why they should trust you.
Stop thinking of sales pitches. Stop thinking of overnight success. Building relationships with other people is what will drive you to the wealth that you dream of.
So keep that in mind and take care!

To "Be Your Own Boss" Dream: Debunking The Work From Home Myth Of Direct Sales
Direct sales companies put a great deal of time and effort into recruiting sales people. The number one lure that most direct marketing companies use is the ability to work from home. The vast majority of new recruits sign on for the promise that you can be your own boss. Is this really true, and is direct marketing all that its cracked up to be?
Direct marketing or direct sales is the selling of products and/or services directly to people. Products/services are not marketed in retail stores. Instead, sellers must push their product(s) by other means. This most often involves home parties, shows, classes or demonstrations.
Typically, a direct marketer is drawn by the enticement of being able to work from home. The idea of being able to be your own boss is alluring, so many sign on with high hopes.
However, an estimated 50 percent of new direct sales recruits drop out within the first six months. A good number of these drop out within the first two months. These dropouts cite two major reasons for their disillusionment:
1. The income they are generating is not as great as they believed it would be.
2. The work from home job turned out to involve more work outside of the home than anticipated.
Unfortunately, direct sales companies exaggerate claims about how much out-of-home work is really required to launch a successful business. They often quote promising and encouraging statistics about people making a livable income from home. Their sales brochures are almost always filled with testimonials from associates who love their work-from-home jobs. They seem to be able to run a business from a desktop while still picking up their kids from school every day. They manage to get dinner on the table every night, and they make a great living too.
The problem with these statistics and testimonials is that they are "top-heavy." They represent only a small percentage of the total number of direct sales people working for the company. Those at the top of the chain usually do make a good living. However, they often make more money off the sales of their recruits than from their own personal sales.
The vast majority of direct marketers wanting to work from home find themselves quickly disappointed. They end up spending far more time out of the house trying to generate sales than they do at home. After all, the key to making sales in this type of company is through home parties or demonstrations in the homes of others. Sales people must spend several hours per week away from home peddling their product(s)/services. The bulk of personal sales do not come from phone or Internet sales, but through live, in-person encounters. Direct selling is really little more than the modern equivalent of door-to-door selling.
Sales people then become disillusioned. They're unable to generate enough income to make it worth the trouble. Neither are they willing or able to spend more time away from home. After all, they signed up because they wanted to work FROM home.
The notion of wanting to be your own boss also tends to fade quickly from reality to fantasy. No direct marketer can truly be his or her own boss because there is always pressure from above. Those at the top of the sales chain cannot make money unless their recruits are making money. The result is that someone at the top is always pressuring those at the bottom. They continually ask them to do more than perhaps they ever wanted to when they signed on.
Is it possible to be your own boss in direct marketing? Yes. One need only to look at those testimonials to see this. However, it isn't always as simple as it sounds in the recruiting brochures. Those who truly want to be their own bosses must be prepared to spend time away from home. The bottom line is that direct marketing may not be the work from home job that you have always dreamed of.

What are we doing on this world? (Part 3)

Look at our leaders, how they attack other countries because they are so afraid. And there is nothing to be afraid of. Because if you will love people, they will love you back. It is that simple. It is not that complicated life.
But somehow there is a force, also known as the dark force, that is appearing so strong that people don’t believe in themselves, they believe in the dark force and they serve the dark. And they are going to profit from everybody. And they function as parasites on this planet.
And the great majority of people have become parasites. Not that they want to be parasites, they really want to be loved. But there is no other way. Everybody is the same.
So we need now people to be different. To believe in themselves. And express their love, and be happy, and unite everybody. And that is the final awakening.
And now the question is, who is awakening on this planet? The young people? They are already there. They already know the system, and know that something is very bad, is very wrong with the system and they are trying to get away from it. But one day they have to pay the bills. And they have to be part in that system, and become equally and as greedy as negative as the rest of mankind. Or they are 90% of the day negative and 10% nice. Sort of one hour before they go to bed. But that’s not good enough.
What is good enough? That we are all the time alert and stimulating one another to do the right thing not by judging but by showing the way. Now you can be simply showing the way. Many simple people who work in hospitals or prisons, who are very loving, because so many people suffer so much. And they work from morning to night because they love to serve.
We have to learn the lessons of integration, to create the situation where the negative and the positive situations unite. Not the positive in preference of the negative, no, because you create separation that way.
You have to unite them. The poles got to be united so you get one big light. We have to learn to dance in harmony. Woman and Man as one person. Positive and Negative as one. The Hart and The Mind as one.
When you are one, you become so conscious of your abilities as a creator. That the two of you create the most beautiful things in the world. So that other people also can do the same. We all have to stimulate everyone to be equally, as capable, as knowledgeable, and creative as everybody else. And not one to control the other, no!
Those who are highest in conscious will receive the most respect. It is a question of respect, not a question of control.
The greatest gift you can give to your friend or to your partner is the gift of trust. That you trust him to be divine, that you trust him he will do the right thing. And if you trust them, they will do it, even when they were not planning it to do it, because you trust him so much he is going to do it anyway. That is creation, and that is security. You can pass on the knowledge by just being honest.
We have made so many mistakes. And it is good that we made all these mistakes. Because you will never know the truth, unless you have studied all that what is not truth. And now we can see that we have been misguided by our religious organizations. Almost every religious organization has got it by the wrong end. Because religion is not in order to help and to love and guide people to the right thing, but religion is created to control. And they create a god with a lot of rules, and if you upset the rules you have upset god according to their stories.
To kill people is a bad thing. And religions are prepared to kill people because you broke the rule. And that is wrong. If you are honest you know this is wrong.
We have to become more confident and believe more in ourselves. You begin to live with more honor, and more respect for one another.
So the time has come to stop to follow false leaders. We all have to decide to conquer the animal inside ourselves, so that the animal isn’t expressing itself with its fears, but its divine that expresses itself with love and co-operative attitudes. A good world is not a gift that comes to us, a good world is what you deserve because of your actions and your expressions. We will then representing the good energies.
Many things have happened in our live and many mistakes have been made. We need to forgive that. We have to forgive the injustices that has been leveled against us. And also you have to forgive the injustice way you have expressed yourself to other people. Because all that was happening because there was a lot of misunderstanding going on. To much dogma, to many opinions, to little understanding. To clean up your mind from all these negative inputs, you just have to forgive them and let them go. Like you blow up a balloon and let it go.
The first thing you do is to write down everything you are unhappy about. And forgive it. Let it go. And as you free yourself from that you free yourself also from the pain.
We have to choose leaders that are indeed for everybody. Who want really peace.
It is difficult to believe in a diplomat, because a diplomat is someone who can never really tell the truth. That’s what diplomacy is all about. Expressing an aspect of the truth, not all of the truth. And in diplomacy you need that, because there are so many opposing opinions.
But now we have to cut in this. And say come on, let’s not play games anymore. Let’s go to the real thing, let’s do it now, not tomorrow, now. And I am sure if you would share that with everybody, in all the papers, to everybody,… hey… everybody will do it. Everybody wants to be part of it and will support it.
What side are you on? Are you on the side of the dark, and fear, and conflicts or are you on the side of love, of light and sharing, and co-operating with one another, and serving one another.
The majority wants the love, the light,… but what they did not realize that they have to become an active creator, aspect of what they actually want in their life. So we need more positive communications, and let everybody understand their role.
As creators we are also able to use imagination. Imagination is the power, the tool that we have in order to create exactly that what we want. In your imagination you need to dream more, you have to close your eyes to the world, and begin to dream, what is it what you want? What is it what you like to see happening? What would you like to create? How would you like to help? And you visualize the world of your ideal. Where everybody is in peace. Where everybody is happy. And how you are helping this happiness. That visualization, that dream, that you can put up on the screen of your mind, is your contribution to creation. When other people begin to dream and they pick up your dream, and it begin to spread, that is communication. We are spiritual beings. We are not just physical beings.
You begin to attract in your live other people who are equally dreaming similar dreams. And the service will be to help somebody. Or to smile to somebody.
This world will change to a world we all wanted to have. Where you feel secure because everybody else is your friend.

Don't always tell the truth

Social Network Marketing is HOT

The good news is that it isn’t hard to become a social media whiz.
Social media marketing is a term that describes use of social networks. Common social media marketing tools include Twitter, blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube.
Social media isn't just about big networks like Facebook and MySpace, it's about brands having conversations. Social network marketing is an advertising method that makes use of social network service and to increase their web presence. This ranges from simply advertising directly on social networking sites, viral marketing that spreads throughout the web, email, and word of mouth, or providing niche social networking sites focused around the item being advertised (this last one is the future and I will speak about this on a later topic).
Many sites include features where companies can create profiles. For example, on Facebook companies can create pages where users can become fans of this company, product, service, individual, etc.
The success of social network marketing will increase enormously. A perceived lack of business ethics have resulted in a consumer tendency to mistrust traditional advertising and depend more on word-of-mouth marketing.
But the two-way flow can be a risk for companies unaccustomed to dealing directly with consumers, who just as easily can complain on an online forum about a lousy customer service experience as they can join the fan page for a brand on Facebook. By jumping into social media, marketers give up some control over the message they want consumers to hear.
There’s also a danger of rushing into the medium without understanding the technology and its culture
Clearly, the move is toward social media, and lots of folks are already there
Starting a conversation with consumers also can be more effective than placing ads on social networking sites.

Registreer Jouw Domeinnaam
